No&#8230; Really&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When you rent out your house, minor maintenance issues normally go unnoticed until they are huge problems.  Apparently, in My Other House\u00e2\u201e\u00a2 there was a small leak from the tub spigot that was allowing a small amount of water to go through the wetboard down to the first floor bathroom ceiling.  Again, a minor issue really only requiring a little tightening of the spigot and some caulk.  However, when ignored for long periods, this problem explodes into something much, much bigger.  In this, it didn&#8217;t explode, but it certainly fell on my head:<br \/>\n<center><br \/>\n<a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/301university.hatproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/pict5133.JPG\" title=\"Bathroom mess\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image59\" src=\"http:\/\/301university.hatproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/pict5133.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"Bathroom mess\" \/><\/a> <a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/301university.hatproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/pict5127.JPG\" title=\"The bulge...\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image63\" src=\"http:\/\/301university.hatproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/pict5127.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"The bulge...\" \/><\/a> <a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"http:\/\/301university.hatproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/pict5129.JPG\" title=\"The eventual demise of the ceiling\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image62\" src=\"http:\/\/301university.hatproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/pict5129.thumbnail.JPG\" alt=\"The eventual demise of the ceiling\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/center><br \/>\nI spent the little section of my vacation time I had to spare re-drywalling the bathroom.  While I had all the material and tools in Maryland, I also changed the shower faucet in the first floor bathroom to something much nicer.  Ever since I lived there, the old one had annoyed me by sometimes leaking and never having a consistent temperature.  Which brings me to a closing question:<\/p>\n<p>Why are all the shower faucets available at Lowes and Homie Depot of the type that don&#8217;t let you control the water temperature <b><i>and<\/b><\/i> pressure?!?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When you rent out your house, minor maintenance issues normally go unnoticed until they are huge problems.
